Certificate of trailer

After analysing action trailers and the audience they attracted we have changed our mind to the certificate we want our film to be. We would rather have it rated a 12 as this is a common rating of all action films and although the biggest target audience of action films is in the age range of 15 - 24 there is still a small proportion of audience members aged 12 -14. Our trailer will consist of all the stereotypes of action films which keeps an audience watching a trailer as they expect to see them. This attracts more of a male dominated audience but by doing an action film we would expect to get a more male dominated audience than female.
