We then did a questionnaire specifically on the genre of action. This is essential as we can ask them about certain stereotypes of action films which allows us to see which ones we should include in our trailer.

From the results of this questionnaire it is clear that a trailer affects a decision to see a film which indicates that we need to ensure that our trailer is effective and grabs the audience. The majority of the people we asked liked action films - which is a good sign - and there is a split between the favourite part of an action film with no part being significantly higher than others. This suggests that what makes a action film successful are the common stereotypes, this shows that we need to include these in our trailer. However, this may not be easy as our budget isn't high enough to recreate all these scenes although we can try in order to make our trailer conform to the genre as much as possible. All of the people we asked said that they would rather see an action film in the cinema which highlights how the special effects are a major selling point of an action film.
